What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. We believe it to be infallible, which is to say that there are no mistakes in it. The Bible is the foundation of what we believe as a church and tells us how Christians ought to live – therefore we seek to keep it at the centre of all we do. Our belief is that through God’s Word people are changed. Within it we see the central message as being that God has made Himself known to us through His son, Jesus. We also believe that because of Jesus death and resurrection, we can have new life in Him. The Bible is the supreme standard of the Church.

As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, we hold to the reformed faith. We believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith as well as the larger and shorter catechisms explain what the Bible teaches on certain points of doctrine and worship.
